270 150 partition elk

I bought a couple of boxes for an elk hunt and ended up using some Hornadys that did the job. A modified Partition, the Partition Gold, was marketed by Winchester under the CT (Combined Technology) banner that marked collaboration between Winchester and Nosler. Anyway, I'd like to get these to someone who will use them. Yeah, I've never seen a .270 and a 150 Partition "fail" on an elk--or similar-sized African plains game. They have a lot of muscle that the extra weight of the bullet will help push through. For a long time I have debated this internally. It might not be quite as accurate as the plastic tipped bullets, but it is accurate enough for bullet placement out to 300 yards, and it will penetrate better. It has a great trigger and is guaranteed to shoot sub MOA. As long as you hit vitals a 270 is more than enough. the is the best rifle I have owned in 40 years. I like the 150 gr.
